Wollersheim Winery & Distillery, located in nearby Prairie du Sac, has made a name for itself in the community, and 2022 marks the 50th anniversary for the winery.

Leaves Are Falling. New Releases Are Calling.
With the changing of the seasons and a successful Wisconsin harvest now behind us, we are looking forward to our upcoming slate of new releases, new menus, and the first taste of the 2021 vintage.

Our Annual Wisconsin Grape Harvest
We are pleased to share that we have completed another successful grape harvest, excluding a field of Ice Wine grapes, which will be picked in winter when the temperatures are well below freezing.

The Mighty Oak’s Historic Life
Despite our family’s vast efforts to preserve it, our Burr oak present on the Wollersheim logo, also known around the winery as our Mighty Oak, has reached the end of its historic life.

Just Released: Wisconsin Ice Wine
Released May 5th. For those who may not be familiar with Ice Wine, it is a truly special wine that is unlike anything else. The highly concentrated juice is pressed from the frozen grapes, and then fermented slowly to produce an intensely sweet and concentrated wine that is like liquid honey. We like to call it our Nectar of the Vines.
