Prairie Fumé, the wine that made Wollersheim Winery famous, continues to be a showstopper in the world of international wine competitions, recently receiving various accolades for 2018.

Wollersheim’s most popular wine has been awarded a multitude of high honors for this year including Best of Class and Triple Gold at the 2018 Dan Berger International Wine Competition, Platinum and 94 Points at the 2018 Critics Challenge International Wine Competition, Gold at the 2018 Los Angeles International Wine Competition, as well as Gold at the 2018 Tasters Guild International Wine Competition.

The crisp 100 percent Seyval Blanc semi-dry white wine with notes of fresh citrus and tropical highlights is the perfect wine for every occasion with its hint of sweetness, earning it the title as a nationally acclaimed medal winner.

Prairie Fumé is produced using custom-grown New York grapes and is fermented using cold fermentation methods, maintaining the fruit’s natural residual sweetness. Try this award winning white wine with appetizers, seafood, pasta or the next time you are outside by the grill.

Wollersheim’s other big winner of 2018 has been Dry Riesling; winner of Best White Wine, Best of Class and Gold at the 2018 Pacific Rim Competition, in addition to Gold and 90 Points at the 2018 Los Angeles International Wine Competition.
