The Jack Rose cocktail is perhaps the most famous of all Apple Brandy cocktails, dating back to 1914. Our version uses a maple simple syrup, which, when combined with our Wisconsin Apple Brandy and lemon juice creates a refreshing yet earthy and complex winter warmer. We call it the Jack Frost:)

Jack Frost

  • 2 oz Wollersheim Wisconsin Apple Brandy
  • 3/4 oz maple simple syrup*
  • ½ oz fresh lemon juice
  • Combine ingredients in a cocktail shaker. Fill with ice, and shake. Strain into a chilled coupe glass.

    *Maple Simple Syrup

    Mix 1 cup maple syrup and ½ cup water in a pot and bring to a slow boil over medium low heat. Remove from heat and let cool. Keep stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 weeks.
