Ruby Nouveau 2022 is now available!
Our Ruby Nouveau is Wisconsin’s version of a Beaujolais Nouveau, traditionally released in France on the third Thursday each November. Ruby Nouveau is made from our estate-grown Maréchal Foch grapes and Winemaker Philippe follows the traditional methods of whole berry fermentation of his home region.
Made from the highly acclaimed cold climate American hybrid varietal St. Pepin, from which the wine is named, the estate-grown dry white wine has notes of minerals, chalky soil, and stone fruits. Unlike many white wines, St. Pepin is aged for 6 months in French Oak barrels within our historic limestone cellars.
A group of more than 30 expert judges evaluated over 400 spirits from 37 states and Washington, D.C. The judging panel awarded only 15 Gold medals, along with 104 Silver and 159 Bronze medals.
Made from a blend of premium red grapes, Scarlet Fumé is characterized by the intense aromas of luscious cherries and sun-splashed violets. The palate is bright and balanced with a smooth finish and an eye-pleasing ruby hue color.
