The Brandy Alexander is a quintessential Wisconsin cocktail, that can be found on menus at Supper Clubs across the state. Interestingly, the original Alexander cocktail used Gin as the base spirit, but we prefer the Wisconsin way with Brandy. This cocktail can be easily made with vanilla ice cream in place of the half & half, for an even more decadent experience.

Brandy Alexander

  • 1 oz 1876 Press House Brandy
  • 1 oz Crème de Cacao
  • 1 oz Half & Half
  • Combine all ingredients in a cocktail shaker. Add ice and shake until well chilled. Double strain into a chilled coupe glass. Garnish with grated nutmeg.
