It is our pleasure to announce that the Wollersheim Bistro, located inside the vintage winery building, is now open!
Wollersheim Bistro will serve local and seasonal fare expertly paired with Wisconsin’s favorite locally made wine and spirits. The initial offerings will include paninis, salads, breads, snacks and various desserts that can be enjoyed at any of the beautiful outdoor areas or inside the cozy walls of the original 19th century winery building.
The bistro is headed by Philippe and Julie Coquard’s eldest son, Romain. The winemaker’s son spent time studying cuisine across the world and has worked in some of the areas most popular restaurants.
“I’m excited to add my love for food and cooking to my family’s passion at the winery and distillery,” Romain said. “I’ve obviously always been around the property and have helped in a variety of ways, but now I am truly pursuing what I’m passionate about.”
The dining experience at Wollersheim Bistro is modeled after a traditional French bistro — where friends and family can stop for a quick bite and chat in a welcoming and warm environment. That means no reservations and less waiting!
“We really feel it will be a pretty unique experience,” Romain said. “There aren’t many places you can go that make their own wine, spirits, and food all in one place. The bistro will really add to that complete experience here at Wollersheim.”
Please note, with the addition of the bistro and the expanded food options now available at the Wollersheim property, we are no longer allowing food carry-ins.
