Handicapped Accessible Parking

Our property is built on the hillside overlooking the Wisconsin River and while grapes do best on these steep slopes some guests find it a little more difficult.  If you need closer accessible parking, please follow the instructions below depending on the location you would like to visit. Since there are limited spots available, please consider a drop off instead of parking if possible.

Winery Store, Bistro and Business Office

Enter property from Hwy 188 and follow the entrance road to the main parking area. Continue to the northwest (left) side of the parking lot where you will find an access road to Kehl Rd.  This road will take you through the woods, curve to the right and then climb the hill to the parking lot in front of the Winery Store,  Bistro, and Business Office.  Please note this is a single lane road accommodating 2-way traffic so please go slow and watch for other cars and guests.  At the top of the hill there are several spots along the stone wall where you can park.

When leaving you will take the same road down the hill and continue straight ahead on Kehl Rd which leads directly to Hwy 188.

Distillery Store

Enter property from Hwy 188 and follow the entrance road to the main parking area. Continue up the blacktop paved hill straight ahead, passing in front of the Distillery.  At the top of the hill there are 2 available spots facing the patio.  Please note that there is NO thru access to the winery accessible parking spots from this direction.

When exiting you will drive back down the hill and out the Exit road to Hwy 188.

Winery Store

The winery store features all of our Wollersheim wines, a few wines from our sister winery Cedar Creek Winery, and a variety of glassware, corkscrews, and gift items. We offer a fine selection of Wisconsin cheeses, unique food items to enjoy in the Wine Garden, gift boxes and a variety of winery apparel.

Historic Hillside Cave

Our hillside cave was built in the 1840s and was restored in 2012. The cave has historic displays explaining the history of the cave.

Next to the cave is the upper wine garden, designated as “Bob’s Garden” in honor of our late founder Bob Wollersheim. At the back of the wine garden is our “Wine Sensory Garden”. The plants in the Wine Sensory Garden have been carefully chosen to be representative of aromas and flavors that we can smell or taste in the wines.
