Welcome to WOLLERSHEIM WINERY
Please follow the pathway through the vines, where new wines grow in old-world tradition, and the aroma of past vintages fills the air.
Wine Tastings available at any time with or without the tour. You must be 21 years old or older to taste or purchase. Please bring photo ID. All Wollersheim wines are produced and bottled at the winery site.
Please respect the nature of our private property and remain in designated public areas. Pets in parking area only. Wollersheim Winery and Distillery are smoke free. We hope you enjoy your visit!
Our wine garden is open 10am to 5pm daily, spring through fall, weather permitting. Enjoy a glass of wine and a view of the vineyards under an umbrella.
It is our pleasure to announce that the Wollersheim Bistro, located inside the vintage winery building is now open!
Bistro Hours: Sorry temporarily closed.
Wollersheim Bistro will serve local and seasonal fare expertly paired with Wisconsin’s favorite locally made wine and spirits. The initial offerings will include paninis, salads, breads, snacks and various desserts that can be enjoyed at any of the beautiful outdoor areas or inside the cozy walls of the original 19th century winery building.
The bistro is headed by Philippe and Julie Coquard’s eldest son, Romain. The winemaker’s son spent time studying cuisine across the world and has worked in some of the areas most popular restaurants.
The dining experience at Wollersheim Bistro is modeled after a traditional French bistro — where friends and family can stop for a quick bite and chat in a welcoming and warm environment. That means no reservations and less waiting!
The bistro is open Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 11am-2pm. Snack options are available in the winery store Monday-Wednesday.
Please note, with the addition of the bistro and the expanded food options now available at the Wollersheim property, we are no longer allowing food carry-ins.
Historic Hillside Cave
The cave is open 10am to 5pm weather permitting. Closed in the winter.
Our hillside cave was built in the 1840s and was restored in 2012. The cave is open for viewing and has historic displays explaining the history of the cave. The cave is open for anyone wishing to take a look, and is not part of the guided tour.
Next to the cave is the upper wine garden, designated as “Bob’s Garden” in honor of our late founder Bob Wollersheim. At the back of the wine garden is our “Wine Sensory Garden”. The plants in the Wine Sensory Garden have been carefully chosen to be representative of aromas and flavors that we can smell or taste in the wines.
The winery store features all of our Wollersheim wines, two wines from our sister winery Cedar Creek Winery, and a variety of glassware, corkscrews, and gift items. We offer a fine selection of Wisconsin cheeses, unique food items to enjoy in the Wine Garden, gift boxes and a variety of winery apparel.
