Garden Gate Gin aged in Cabernet Barrel
Garden Gate Gin aged in a used Cabernet barrel from our winery.
Story: Our 16th bottling in our Curiosity Collection and our first Barrel Aged Gin. The used wine barrel imparts a slightly pinkish orange hue and adds a robust backbone to the gin, accentuating the herbal characteristics.
Distilled From: Grape Brandy Base
Distilled Method: Grape brandy is distilled to be base spirit, redistilled with botanicals in vapor basket.
Age: 300 days in a Cabernet barrel
Botanicals: Juniper, Coriander, Lemongrass, Lavender, Rosemary, Chamomile, Anise
Alcohol: 50% alcohol by volume (100 proof)
