2 oz Round Top Rye Whiskey
3/4 oz Grapefruit Cordial*
2 dashes Bittercube Cherry Bark Vanilla Bitters
Add all ingredients to a shaker. Add ice and shake until well chilled. Double strain into an ice filled rocks glass. Garnish with grapefruit wedge.
Zest 2 grapefruit using a microplane zester. Juice the grapefruits and weigh using a digital scale. Add juice to a saucepan and add equal weight of granulated sugar. Heat grapefruit juice and sugar over medium low heat, stirring frequently, until the sugar has dissolved. Remove from heat and chill mixture. Add the zest of the grapefruits to the mixture and allow to steep for 10 minutes. Strain through a fine mesh strainer to remove the grapefruit zest. Keep grapefruit cordial refrigerated in an airtight container. Will keep for two weeks.
