Red, White and Blue Whiskey Fundraiser at Wollersheim Distillery

Saturday, May 18, 2019 | 10am – 5pm

Limited Whiskey Release
Join us for a special fundraiser to benefit Wisconsin Veterans Service Organizations with the limited release of our Red, White & Blue Whiskey. The American themed whiskey is made from milled red, white and blue corn maintaining the precise percentage of each color on the American flag. These limited bottles will be available for purchase for $100+tax with proceeds going to the Wisconsin Veterans Service Organizations.

Special Guests
At 11:45, the living flag will make their entrance, along with the Sauk Prairie High School drum line for a patriotic salute to our veterans, followed by the singing of our National Anthem. At 12:00 noon, hear from winemaker Philippe and distiller Tom, along with the check presentation to the Wisconsin Department of Veterans Affairs.

Other New Whiskeys
We will also release three new whiskeys from our Curiosity Collection. The Curiosity Collection showcases unique variations of fruit or grain varieties, barrel types or production techniques. Curiosity Collection No. 1 was our Red Dress spirit, released in April. Collection No. 2, 3 & 4 are each made entirely from red corn, white corn or blue corn. $10 from sales of each of these bottles will be donated to the vets. These three spirits can be tasted in our Still View Room for $5. Due to its limited nature, we will not be offering tastings of the Red, White & Blue Whiskey.

Cocktails
We’re mixing up some cocktails to be enjoyed inside or outside. We’ll be serving our classic Brandy Old Fashioneds, our Apples & Cream cocktail and a Whiskey Sour.

Food
Local food vendors will have a variety of items available between 11am–3pm. There will be a brat stand that will benefit Sauk Prairie Heroes for Honor/Badger Honor Flight.

Music
Listen to Gin Mill Hollow as their sound incorporates elements of bluegrass, folk and Americana. They will be playing from 12:30-4pm. Enjoy their vocals and foot-stomping rhythm.
