Prairie du Sac, Wis. – Just in time for Father’s Day, Wollersheim Distillery will celebrate the release of two brandies: the all-Wisconsin Coquard Brandy No. 4 featuring a newly-designed label, and 1876 Press House Brandy, named for the year brandy was first made on the property and the “Press House,” as the historic winery building was called 100 years ago.

“Brandy making is a tradition here at Wollersheim, and we’re very excited to introduce these two brandies,” said Wollersheim owner Philippe Coquard. “This will be the fourth batch of our signature Coquard Brandy, along with the very first batch of 1876 Press House Brandy, which is distilled from fermented American grapes and then aged in American Oak barrels until it’s ready for cocktail hour.”

The brandy release celebration will take place Friday and Saturday, June 17-18. On both days, the event will feature self-guided tours through the Stillhouse and Grain Fermentation Room, along with complimentary tastes of both brandies and Garden Gate Gin.

Summer cocktails will include Smooth Dance, featuring Wollersheim’s Dancehall Absinthe Blanche, and an 1876 Press House Brandy Sour. Both cocktails along with select Wollersheim wines will be available for purchase on the Distillery patio.

On Saturday, additional activities will include music from Derek Pritzl and the Gamble. Food from the Blue Spoon will also be available for purchase from noon to 3:30 p.m.
