1 ½ Press House Brandy
¼ oz Old Fashioned Syrup*
1 Orange Wedge
1 Maraschino Cherry
7-Up (Sweet) or Squirt (Sour)
In an Old Fashioned Glass, muddle the syrup, orange and cherry into a thick paste being careful not to work the orange peel. Add the brandy, fill glass ¾ full with ice and top with soda. Briefly stir, then garnish with orange slice and brandied cherry.
*Old Fashioned Syrup
1 oz (25g) Bittercube Blackstrap Bitters
½ oz (12g) Bittercube Cherry Bark Vanilla Bitters
½ oz (12g) Bittercube Orange Bitters
1 oz (35g) Quince & Apple Tart Cherry Grenadine
1 oz (30g)Orange Juice
½ cup (100g) Brown Sugar
Makes 200 grams (About 5 oz)
Add all liquid ingredients into a saucepan over low heat. Stir in brown and sugar and let simmer for 1-2 minutes or until sugar is dissolved. Remove from heat and let cool. Funnel the syrup into a glass bottle or jar, cover and shake well. Refrigerate for up to 2 weeks.
