Wollersheim Scarlet Apple2 oz Apple Eau de Vie
3/4 oz Cranberry Sage Shrub*
1/4 oz Lemon Juice
2 dashes Orange Bitters

Combine all ingredients in a cocktail shaker. Fill with ice and shake until well chilled. Double strain into chilled coupe glass. Garnish with sage leaf or lemon peel.

*Cranberry Sage Shrub

6 oz Fresh or Frozen Cranberries
1/2 cup Sugar
1/3 cup Apple Cider Vinegar
1 cup Water
2 fresh sage leaves

Bring all ingredients to a simmer in a saucepan over medium heat, stirring often. Reduce heat to low, and cook 5 minutes, or until most of the cranberries have burst. Strain mixture and allow to cool. Store in refrigerator up to 3 months.
