In honor of the grand opening of Vintage Brewing Co. Sauk Prairie we offer a special edition of Mixology Monday spotlighting a cocktail recipe featuring the award winning Scaredy Cat Oatmeal Stout combined with Press House Brandy !

Vintage Flip

  • 1 ½ oz Wollersheim Press House Brandy
  • 2 oz Vintage Brewing Co. Scaredy Cat Oatmeal Stout
  • ½ oz Scaredy Cat Oatmeal Stout Simple Syrup*
  • 1 whole egg
  • Add all ingredients to a shaker and swirl to decarbonate beer. Dry shake (shake without ice), then shake with ice and fine-strain into a chilled wine glass. Garnish with nutmeg.

    *Scaredy Cat Oatmeal Stout Simple Syrup

  • 4oz Oatmeal Stout
  • 1 cup sugar
  • Combine ingredients in saucepan over medium heat, stirring frequently until sugar dissolves. Remove from heat, let cool. Keep refrigerated in airtight container up to two weeks.
