Winery Tours: The natural beauty surrounding the Wollersheim Winery has been the backdrop for a remarkable historical heritage, one told in rich detail during the winery's guided tour. The tour points out interesting aspects of the property, which has earned a listing in the National Register of Historical Places.

Following a video that touches on the last 150 years of the winery's history, visitors walk up to the old cave on the hillside, site of the original wine cellar and the first house of the founding family. Once at the cave entrance, there is a grand view of the vineyards as well as a panoramic scene of the Wisconsin River Valley.

The tour then takes a walk past our wine garden and inside to the viewing windows of the modern fermentation room. A brief video is shown which shows the winemaking process from harvesting the grapes to the finished wine in the bottle. Visitors then return to the original winery and tour the underground limestone aging cellars. Following the tour, visitors are invited to taste a sampling of our wines. The basic guidelines of wine tasting are explained. Tours last approximately 1 hour.

Wine Tastings: A selection of our wines is available for sampling in our tasting room. Our Featured wines are available for tasting at no charge. Additional wines may be tasted for a small fee. These are available as a flight of red wines, flight of white wines, or specialty wine tasting, such as Ice Wine, red Port, or White Port. You must be 21 years old or older to taste or purchase wine.
